Nestled within a landmark neighborhood of personal memory, this ground-floor residence in Chalandri unfolds as a contemporary family sanctuary, embraced by a lush garden and mature trees that frame everyday life with serenity.
From the very threshold, the architecture honors its origins. The stone façade and sculptural openings were preserved, allowing natural light to carve its own narrative across the space — a dialogue between heritage and modernity.
Custom storage elements, clad in warm wood textures, were designed as functional sculptures, merging utility with quiet elegance.
At the heart of the home, the fireplace emerges as a monolithic gesture — an extension of a continuous seating platform. A place to pause, to gather, to gaze through the generous opening while remaining connected to the living area. Its presence anchors the open-plan space, radiating warmth that flows effortlessly into the kitchen. The kitchen embraces the structural skeleton of the building, transforming it into a social nucleus — where conversations circulate freely, meals become rituals, and family moments unfold organically.
Materiality became our muse. Through our creative hub, bespoke wallpapers were designed, fabrics were custom-printed, and sculptural poufs were handcrafted for both the children’s rooms and the garden. Geometric compositions in curated color palettes echo the refined aesthetic of the homeowner — a dialogue between form and emotion.
Earthy hues and warm tonalities dominate the interior, grounding the space in calm, intimacy, and timeless elegance.
The private quarters are connected by a discreet corridor — a hidden passage leading to three serene bedrooms and a master bathroom, creating a cocoon of tranquility.
On the opposite wing, with its own independent entrance, a guest suite unfolds — complete with a private balcony and bathroom. Conceived with foresight, this space allows for future transformations, reflecting our philosophy of designing beyond the present moment.
